I’m not a kid in age “75″ but I am in spirit!! I’m from St. George, Utah.
One thing is that We have the only location of snowflake obsidian.
I read the artical in Rock & Gem magiz. I’m very happy for You . I don’t know what kind of tips You are looking for, so let Me know & if I can help You let Me know!! I’m always tring to get some of My Grandchildren interested in rock & minerals. I have people tell Me there are other locations of snow flake, but no one has ever told me the locations to find it. Once some one said that snoke flake is found in the obsidian buttes of Oregon, but I haven’t been able to find any there. I do have a lot from there black, brown, gold sheen, silver sheen, mahogany, & so forth. I hope You will press on in your web sites & blogs. Take care & have fun with your hobbie!! Earl

Have been searching for things that I can give my grandson. He enjoys Rockhounding for pieces of agate in our Arizona Winchester Mntns. when he visits with his Dad. However he is consumed with his sports at home. Perhaps you have the thing that might rouse his interest in studying rocks.
You might ask a rockhound club if thay would like to have you present your experiences and a description of your business. I know that my club(Old Pueblo Lapidary Club/Tucson,AZ) at http://www.lapidaryclub.org – regularly gives tumbled rocks to early grade school classes. I have seen the notes from greatful teachers for the presentations by one of our members and the gift rocks. If you travel to Tucson ,let me know and I am sure our club would welcome you to one of our monthly meetings. Keep up the good work.
    Sincerely, Phil B.
